When we were kids, we couldn’t wait to grow up. As teenagers, we wanted to be 16 and drive our own cars. Then we couldn’t wait to turn 18 and be free to succeed/fail. Then we couldn’t wait to turn 21 to legally drink. Then, down the line, in our mature careers, we’ll say we can’t wait to retire. Then we’ll start wishing that we were young again. But it’s too late. We grew up too fast....

Whenever people ask how my day was,
I always respond with the same answer: “it was okay” or “normal”. There’s nothing interesting about my life anymore, nothing really happens anymore. There’s nothing really special about my days. Every day is pretty much the same boring day as usual.

It's sad to see someone you care about upset
